Our conveyor designs are normally based on a lattice girder structure. We provide details of the member sizes for the chords, together with details of the vertical and the horizontal bracing. We also provide the connection details for the chords and bracings. For conveyors with more than a single span, the design is for one span. We will automatically choose the critical span so that the same details may be used for the other spans if required.

We need the following information to design a conveyor structure:

a general arrangement drawing of the conveyor showing the span and inclination of the conveyor

details of any walkways

details of any preferred sizes you may have

the material loading in kN/m, together with equipment positions and loadings

details of the belt tensioning system

details of any other loadings which will be supported by the conveyor

the approximate location of the conveyor
